Meet Rosie, so named for the beautiful color of the yarn she is knit with. Of course it's my favorite for bear-making - Lobster Pot Worsted. She is the second bear I have made with my new knitted bear design, though I reworked her feet and muzzle a bit since I was not entirely happy with those on Adelaide. (Psst - don't tell Adelaide. I don't want her to get a complex.) Rosie is five-way jointed and is wearing a lovely knitted sundress made with another Sanguine Gryphon yarn They have the most gorgeous colors and all their yarns are hand-painted. I have one more bear in the works right now, but have to fill some scarf orders too, so the next bear will be a while in coming. I will post finished scarfs as they come off my needles.

Brand new knitted teddy bear design
I can't believe how long it's been since I've written anything. But as you can see, I have been very busy knitting lots of scarves and now this brand new teddy bear design. It has taken many, many weeks to come up with a bear I really liked, so here is Adelaide. She is 6" standing, fully jointed and wearing a knitted jacket designed just for her. She's made with Lobster Pot Worsted, a fabulous, hand-dyed yarn that comes is beautiful, soft colors. Her jacket is knit with hand painted yarn from a company I get lots of my yarns from: The Sanguine Gryphon. They have the most wonderful yarns in amazing colors, so any of you who are knitters, I suggest you check out their website. You won't be sorry, and I hope you won't be sorry with Adelaide.
